The Judgment of the Sixth Trumpet.
Rev 9:13-21

NKJV 13 Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14 saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, "Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates." 15 So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. 16 Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. 17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. 18 By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed--by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. 19 For their power is in their mouth and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents, having heads; and with them they do harm. 20 But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. 21 And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts. NKJV  NASU 13 Then the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, 14 one saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, "Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates."  15 And the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released, so that they would kill a third of mankind.
16 The number of the armies of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. 17 And this is how I saw in the vision the horses and those who sat on them: the riders had breastplates the color of fire and of hyacinth and of brimstone; and the heads of the horses are like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths proceed fire and smoke and brimstone. 18 A third of mankind was killed by these three plagues, by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which proceeded out of their mouths. 19 For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails; for their tails are like serpents and have heads, and with them they do harm. 20 The rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, so as not to worship demons, and the idols of gold and of silver and of brass and of stone and of wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk; 21 and they did not repent of their murders nor of their sorceries nor of their immorality nor of their thefts. NASU

Introduction
This Trumpet Judgment brings severe judgment. The conclusion is very puzzling to me.

Introduction
Personally I am surprised at the reporting of the first part of verse twenty. "But the rest of mankind, who were not killed by these plagues, did not repent of the works of their hands, . . ."

But I have heard the government of Indonesia has told us we must be out of their country by March 1, 2005; and that our soldiers may not have any weapons as they circulate around the country helping the tsunami victims. If this is correct, I think the President should tell them goodby.

A. The Deification of . . Demonic Worship. v 20 b
". . .  that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold, silver, brass, stone, and wood, which can neither see nor hear nor walk. 21 And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their thefts.

    1.    Demonic Worship of . . Idols of Gold. v 20
". . . that they should not worship demons, and idols of gold,. . ."

    2.    Demonic Worship of . . Idols of Silver. v 20 b
        ". . . that they should not worship demons, and idols of . . .silver, . . ."

    3.    Demonic Worship of . . Idols of Brass. v 20 b

    6.    Commonality of Demonic Worship. v 20 b
". . .which can neither see nor hear nor walk."

    7.    Contrast . . with Demonic Worship. Ps 115:4-11
4 Their idols are silver and gold, The work of men's hands.
5 They have mouths, but they do not speak; Eyes they have, but they do not see; 6 They have
ears, but they do not hear; Noses they have, but they do not smell; 7 They have hands, but they
do not handle; Feet they have, but they do not walk; Nor do they mutter through their throat.
8 Those who make them are like them; So is everyone who trusts in them.

9 O Israel, trust in the LORD; He is their help and their shield.
10 O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD; He is their help and their shield. 11 You who fear the
LORD, trust in the LORD; He is their help and their shield. NKJV

B.    Deification of . . Diabolical Practices.
21 And they did not repent of their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or
        their thefts. NKJV

        1.    Murders. The murder of a Mother in Skidmore Mo. To take her Baby.
        2.    Sorceries. Drug Abuse.
        3.    Sexual Immorality.
        4.    Thefts.

Contrast the affects of proper worship and it's effects on mankind.

All of the first colleges were started by Christians.

Many of the great hospitals were started by Christians.

Many great humanitarian efforts were started by Christians.
